IF YOU WORKED FOR PREMIER FOOD SERVICES, INC. (DEL MAR FAIRGROUNDS) AT ANY TIME BETWEEN FEBRUARY 2003 AND THE PRESENT, YOU MAY HAVE LEGAL CLAIMS IN A MEAL PERIOD AND REST BREAK CLASS ACTION AGAINST PREMIER FOOD SERVICES

What is this class action about?

The lawsuit was filed as a class action in San Diego Superior Court on behalf of all hourly employees of Premier Food Services, Inc.
The lawsuit seeks compensation for each day an employee did not receive a full 30-minute, uninterrupted meal period within the first 5 hours of the work shift or a second 30-minute uninterrupted meal period for shifts in excess of 10 hours.
The lawsuit also seeks compensation for each day an employee did not receive state mandated rest breaks of 10 minutes during shifts of 4 hours or longer.
California law provides that employees who are denied their meal periods or rest breaks are entitled to one additional hour of pay for each day where a violation occurred.
The goal of this lawsuit is to put an end to the violations of California law and obtain back wages and penalties on behalf of all hourly employees.
