Are you a purchaser of 3G Broadband from Cricket Wireless?

Through a comprehensive marketing campaign, Cricket Wireless advertises "UNLIMITED 3G BROADBAND INTERNET" that is represented to include "high-speed wireless Internet access." Subscribers to the monthly service report, however, that they have not received the services that were represented to them. For example, they are unable to watch even a three minute standard definition video without having to pause and wait for repeated uploads. Some reports indicate a download time of only 7K/second, which falls below market norms for broadband connections. If you have experienced similar problems with your broadband service from Cricket Wireless, you may have standing to bring a class action to recover the cost of your purchases.

Unfulfilled Rebates

In addition to receiving slower than expected Internet connection, Cricket Wireless promises a "Free Broadband Modem." The free portion comes with a mail-in offer for a prepaid Cricket Visa card in the amount of the cost of the modem. The Cricket A600 Modem is currently advertised with a retail price of $119.00. If you purchase on-line, you save $69.00 and pay $50. This $50 is supposedly returned (as a pre-paid Visa card) after sending in the mail-in offer. Consumers report, however, that they have not received their rebate. If this describes your situation, you may have the basis for a class action complaint against Cricket Wireless.
